Job summary

Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking an experienced EHS Site Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs at a manufacturing facility in Belle Mead, NJ. This hands-on leadership role will drive regulatory compliance, risk reduction, injury prevention, environmental performance, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with site leadership and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 7–10 years of EHS experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Manufacturing or industrial EHS experience preferred.
• CSP, CIH, NEBOSH or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve site EHS programs and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable regulations.
• Conduct facility inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage environmental programs including waste, water, air emissions, and hazardous materials.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and manage contractor safety programs.
• Maintain permits, records, and regulatory submissions.
