Job summary

Huntsman seeks a Manager, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) in Freeport, Texas, to lead site programs across environmental, health, safety, and risk management. You will partner with site leadership and corporate Centers of Excellence to drive Zero Harm and continuous improvement.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, lead the EHS team, and coordinate with regulators and emergency responders while managing budgets and stakeholder relationships to strengthen safety culture and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of EHS experience; or 10+ years in chemical manufacturing if degree not present.
• Experience with PSM/RMP regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead site environmental, health, safety, occupational health, and risk management programs.
• Advise site leadership on environmental compliance, safety, and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate EHS requirements, including PSM/RMP.
• Lead occupational health, emergency response, security, and business continuity initiatives.
• Coordinate relationships with regulatory agencies, emergency responders, and community stakeholders.
• Drive hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation across operations.
• Develop and manage the EHS team, budgets, and capital plans.
• Partner with operations and corporate teams to improve EHS performance.
