Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to lead safety culture improvements across our Virginia facilities. You will drive data-driven safety programs, conduct audits, investigations, and risk assessments, and deliver engaging training to protect associates and maintain productivity.

As the site safety champion, you’ll build relationships with frontline teams and leadership, translate safety data into actionable insights, and support emergency response.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS-related background or 1 year in an EHS field.
• OSHA knowledge, 29 CFR 1910 familiarity.
• Experience with Word and Excel in professional settings.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in workplace matters.
