Job summary

Mettler-Toledo is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety leader to advance safety culture and regulatory compliance at our Columbus, OH facility. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, lead audits, and deliver comprehensive safety training for all employees.

Responsibilities include developing EH&S roadmaps, managing budgets, and ensuring OSHA and EPA compliance while fostering collaboration with site leadership and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in safety, engineering, or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies that improve EH&S culture and performance.
• Lead safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement programs.
• Develop and maintain processes to meet OSHA and regulatory requirements.
• Provide comprehensive safety training, including new hires and periodic refreshers.
• Conduct audits, inspections, incident investigations, and near-miss reporting.
