Job summary

Amazon seeks a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, audits and investigations, and champion a proactive safety culture across the site.

You will analyze data, train associates, and collaborate with leadership to drive safe, productive operations while managing emergencies and safety records. The role requires flexibility for shifts and physical work at delivery stations.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; OSHA knowledge a must.
• Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related field is preferred or related experience.
• Experience with incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; customer focus.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 3 weeks of start.
• Experience in emergency response and workers compensation case management.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs, audits, investigations and risk assessments.
• Deliver safety training and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Advocate for associates’ wellbeing and foster leadership partnerships.
• Analyze accident data and implement new safety processes.
• Support emergency response at the site and maintain safety records.
