Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, investigations, and training across fulfillment operations. You will champion a proactive safety culture, analyze incident data, and collaborate with associates and leadership to embed best practices.

This role requires strong communication and the ability to influence safety behaviors at scale. Responsibilities include audits, risk assessments, and emergency response support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS-related field preferred.
• 1+ year in an EHS-related field or 6 months in Amazon safety role allowed.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Word and Excel in a professional setting.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required or must be obtained within 3 weeks of start date.

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety training and drive a proactive safety culture.
• Translate safety data into compelling narratives to influence safety initiatives.
