Job summary

Verde, a minority-owned company dedicated to sustainability, is seeking a Safety Coordinator/EHS to champion safety on data center projects and partner with QTS-Layton. You will lead daily safety operations, training, and compliance, keeping frontline teams informed, safe, and empowered.

The role requires OSHA certification, strong leadership, and superb organizational skills to maintain logs, CPPs, and safety records across sites.

Qualifications

• OSHA Certification required (OSHA 30 preferred).
• 1–2 years experience in safety coordination or facilities services.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to engage frontline teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and log-keeping ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety operations, trainings, and compliance with Verde's standards.
• Maintain safety documentation, incident reporting, and corrective actions.
• Perform site visits, safety walks, and audits; address findings promptly.
• Manage chemical and environmental safety via SDS updates.
• Oversee fleet and equipment maintenance and logs.
• Coordinate with project teams on safety for data center sites.
