Job summary

Verde is seeking a Safety Coordinator/EHS to champion a safe, sustainable workplace. You will lead daily safety operations, training programs, and waste-management efforts, while maintaining compliance with OSHA and environmental standards.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, an OSHA 510/511 credential, and an EHS certification or science degree. As a key site liaison, you will drive safety campaigns, conduct daily site walks, and ensure logs and SOPs reflect client needs.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5+ years of experience and OSHA 510 or 511 along with EHS Certification or Science degree.
• Experience in safety coordination, facilities services, industrial environments, or similar roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• As Safety Coordinator, lead daily safety operations, training, waste-management compliance, and equipment/fleet maintenance.
• Serve as primary safety liaison on site and drive a culture of accountability, awareness, and improvement.
• Represent Verde in safety meetings, prepare pre-job docs, and lead safety campaigns.
• Ensure certifications and programs (OSHA, Green Seal, etc.) stay active and updated.
