Job summary

Verde is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead site safety, environmental compliance, training, waste management, and fleet safety for our Layton-area data center projects. You will champion OSHA and Green Seal programs, build a strong safety culture, and collaborate with operations to reduce risk while supporting Verde’s sustainability goals.

You will run daily safety huddles, inspections, SOP updates, and training records while guiding incident investigations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in EHS or safety management.
• OSHA 511 certification or ability to obtain.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead site safety, environmental compliance, training, waste management, and fleet safety.
• Coordinate safety meetings, JSAs, and pre-job documentation.
• Conduct daily safety huddles, hazard reviews, and SOP updates.
• Conduct daily safety walks, inspections, and audits with supervisors.
• Maintain safety records and support incident investigations.
