Job summary

Verde is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead site safety, environmental compliance, and waste management across data center projects. You will champion safety culture, drive training programs, and ensure operational compliance with OSHA and sustainability standards.

You will coordinate with operations leadership, perform risk assessments, and develop SOPs to maintain Verde's commitment to safety and environmental responsibility. This is a hands-on leadership role at our Utah facility.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in EHS or safety management in industrial settings.
• OSHA 511 certification or ability to obtain it.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience with environmental safety and waste management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for site safety, environmental compliance, training, and waste management.
• Lead safety meetings, prepare Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and participate in non-routine project meetings.
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with site leadership; train staff on procedures.
• Conduct daily safety walks, inspections, and audits; track corrective actions.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and support Verde's environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Manage waste operations, universal waste collection, and maintain compliance records.
