Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is hiring an EHS & Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead daily EHS programs in a laboratory and testing environment. You will drive hazard reduction, regulatory compliance, incident prevention, training, and corrective actions, while applying Lean and VOS principles to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will partner with engineering, maintenance, facilities, and leadership to embed safe practices and sustain improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Industrial Technology or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in EHS, engineering, manufacturing, or lab/testing operations.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements; familiarity with NFPA 70E and electrical safety preferred.
• Experience with incident investigation, root-cause analysis and risk assessment.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills; capable of influencing across functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain EHS leadership presence in laboratories, test bays and support areas.
• Identify hazards and implement effective engineering, administrative, and PPE controls.
• Own or coordinate corrective actions from inspections and audits; ensure timely closure.
