You will develop health and safety assessments, identify hazards, and implement interventions while reporting to management and regulators.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of EHS metrics in a 24/7 metals manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, industrial engineering, safety management or similar program.
• Minimum of two years' experience as an EHS professional in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ANSI, and Colorado Department of Health and Environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams to reach a common goal.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Velocity and Intellaquest experience beneficial.
• Strong leadership and training abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Train employees on EHS policies and practices.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments and identify hazards.
• Provide solutions and intervention strategies for potential EHS hazards.
• Monitor operational processes and employee engagement activities.
• Generate assessment documentation, incident and environmental reports.
• Report findings to management and regulatory agencies.
• Stay updated on EHS trends and best practices to improve metrics.
• Work 75% on the plant floor and support a 24/7 facility.
