Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator to manage the facility's safety and environmental programs, aiming to reduce workplace accidents. The role supports inspection cadences, incident investigations, and regulatory reporting with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include facilitating OSHA training, helping implement EHS systems, participating in monthly safety meetings, and backing up OSHA log management when the EHS Manager is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred in safety or related fields.
• Strong computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word and Outlook; knowledge of EHS software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly compliance inspections.
• Assist root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Facilitate OSHA training and PPE assessments as directed by EHS priorities.
• Support safety committee meetings and ergonomics program.
• Back-up OSHA log management and regulatory communication when needed.
