Job summary

ATI is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support a safe, environmentally compliant workplace in Monroe, NC. The role helps develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs to ensure federal, state, and local compliance while fostering a culture of safety.

Responsibilities include safety program administration, inspections, OSHA/EPA compliance, incident investigations, and environmental reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in safety/environmental field or related discipline.
• Experience implementing EHS programs and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to conduct inspections, investigations and risk assessments.
• Strong communication and training delivery skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and EHS software.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits; monitor OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and documentation.
• Coordinate safety orientation and ongoing training programs.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and track corrective actions.
• Assist with environmental programs including waste management and reporting.
• Participate in risk assessments and continuous safety improvement.
