Job summary
ConMet is hiring an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to oversee the EHS program across Monroe and Charlotte facilities. You will lead health and safety policy development, coordinate regulatory compliance, and drive corrective actions for incidents and hazards.
The role requires strong training program development and safety committee leadership. Responsibilities include implementing ISO 14001 practices, environmental training, and records management while serving as primary contact
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health, safety, environmental, engineering, chemical sciences or related field
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification
- HazMat DOT, RCRA, OSHA 40 HR Certification
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage occupational health, safety program development and administration.
- Represent company to regulatory officials on health, safety and policy compliance.
- Investigate safety issues and injuries; implement corrective actions.
- Conduct inspections and on-site surveys to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Lead occupational health and safety education, training programs and safety committee meetings.
