Job summary

JM TEST SYSTEMS LLC is seeking a Safety and Compliance Officer to lead environmental, health, safety, and compliance programs, promoting a safe work environment and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role involves conducting inspections, investigating incidents, supporting training, workers' compensation, and risk management, reporting to the EHS Manager, and maintaining records per OSHA and related requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Associate's degree plus relevant professional training/experience may be considered.
• Two to four years of experience in occupational health and safety, safety compliance, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and enforcement of safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct routine safety inspections of facilities, equipment, machinery, and work areas to identify hazards and compliance concerns.
• Investigate workplace incidents, prepare investigation reports, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training for employees, supervisors, and management; support onboarding and ongoing education.
• Support workers' compensation activities and risk management; assist with incident reporting and documentation.
