Job summary

TOUS les JOURS International is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead occupational safety and environmental compliance at a high-volume bakery facility in Gainesville, GA. You will drive a strong safety culture, manage safety programs, and ensure regulatory compliance across OSHA, Georgia EPD, and corporate policies.

The role requires 8–10+ years in EHS, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and hands-on leadership of safety initiatives with the ability to communicate across teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a safety/environmental field and 8–10+ years in manufacturing EHS roles.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading safety programs and employee training.
• Experience with EHS software tools and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage safety programs in compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
• Lead hazard identification, JHA, and risk assessments.
• Oversee safety inspections, audits, investigations, and root-cause analysis.
• Manage LOTO, machine guarding, confined space, PPE, and other core safety programs.
• Direct ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementations and maintenance.
• Ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and corporate safety/environmental standards.
• Deliver safety training for employees and contractors; lead Safety Committee meetings.
• Coordinate emergency planning, drills, and relations with local EMS and Fire authorities.
• Maintain safety metrics dashboards, OSHA logs, and regulatory reporting.
