Job summary

Catalent’s Madison site is a state‑of‑the‑art biologics development and manufacturing facility supporting customers from research through early‑ and mid‑stage clinical production. The EHS&S Intern will support programs through inspections, data analysis, and documentation in a GMP environment.

This 12‑week summer internship is onsite, full‑time, and designed to provide practical experience. You’ll work on risk assessments, incident investigations, and cross‑functional projects, while learning

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Public Health, Security, Emergency Management, or a related field of study.
• Eligible to legally work in the United States.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for a 12-week period over the summer.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS&S programs through inspections, audits, field observations, and environmental compliance activities across site operations.
• Collect, analyze, and report safety, environmental, sustainability, and corrective action metrics to support continuous improvement.
• Assist with risk assessments, hazard analyses, incident investigations, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain EHS&S documentation, training materials, communications, and audit-ready records in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects, emergency preparedness activities, and internship initiatives while maintaining 5S and workplace safety standards.
