Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Project Manager to oversee regulatory projects in Savannah, GA. The role focuses on delivering on time, within scope and budget while coordinating with APR and ensuring safety and quality across the team.

You will prepare environmental proposals, lead analyses, perform regulatory calculations, and manage client communications to ensure satisfaction and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology)
• Minimum of 6 years’ related experience
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision manage and execute environmental compliance projects and make recommendations for complex regulatory projects.
• Prepares proposals and reports and outlines assessments for approval by senior level professionals.
• Identify, resolve, or escalate problems and minimize delays.
• Analyze project requirements and perform calculations or write reports and completes deliverables.
• Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to complete the assigned phase and monitor activities.
• Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate status to project team and client.
• Set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate staff to meet project targets and milestones.
• Submit project deliverables to client per contract scope and schedule.
• Deliver work within approved budget and constraints.
• Coordinate with APR to ensure appropriate staffing and reviews at critical junctures.
• Understand project-related risk and company risk policies.
• Lead safety efforts and promote safe work practices.
• Monitor and promote continuous quality and improvement on projects.
• Engage APRs on projects from onset to ensure quality and compliance
