James Hardie Corporation is looking for an EHS Coordinator to manage the planning and implementation of EHS programs aimed at preventing unsafe working conditions. Responsibilities include conducting safety audits, supporting training, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA in Occupational Health & Safety, along with 1-3 years of experience. We offer a competitive salary range from $70,000 to $90,000, along with comprehensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years related experience.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels.
• Hands-on and self-motivated; manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordination of EHS programs.
• Conduct new-hire orientations and regulatory EHS training.
• Perform safety compliance audits and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s).

Skills

Ability to comprehend and interpret regulatory requirements

Knowledge of PC applications

Good technical and project management skills

Education

BS/BA in Occupational Health & Safety or a technical field
