Job summary

Heartland Fabrication, LLC is seeking an EHS Coordinator to develop and execute safety and environmental programs across our heavy manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering and leadership to drive a safe, compliant workplace.

The role reports to the EHS Manager within People Operations. Ideal candidates hold a four-year degree in Safety Management or related field and have up to 5 years in manufacturing, with strong knowledge of OSHA and OSHA/EPA

Qualifications

Four-year college degree in Safety Management, engineering, or closely related field required.
0–5 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or closely related industry preferred.
Familiarity with common business and EHS management software and systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs across all operational areas.
Establish safety objectives and KPIs; monitor compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Design and deliver company-wide safety training, including emergency preparedness and PPE usage.
Aid in Workers’ Compensation/USL&H programs, including claims coordination and Return-to-Work.
Ensure OSHA, EPA, DEP and other regulations are met; prepare for inspections and audits.
