Job summary

Penmac Staffing is seeking an experienced EHS Program Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Irving, TX. This hands‑on role will lead the development and implementation of the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety program while supporting both shop and field operations.

You will develop and manage EHS programs, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, deliver training, support OSHA/ISNet compliance, and partner with operations to eliminate hazards, fostering a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Technology, or related field, or 5+ years of EHS experience.
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Knowledge of LOTO, confined space entry, and machine safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage EHS programs and safety initiatives
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and job-site assessments
• Investigate incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions
• Deliver safety training programs and maintain compliance records
• Support OSHA and ISNet compliance requirements
• Partner with operations teams to identify and eliminate workplace hazards
• Promote a strong culture of safety throughout the organization

Education

Degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Technology, or related field

5+ years of EHS experience
