Job summary

Penmac Staffing is seeking an experienced EHS Program Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Irving, TX. This hands‑on role will lead the development and implementation of the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety program while supporting both shop and field operations.

You will develop and manage EHS programs, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, deliver training, support OSHA/ISNet compliance, and partner with operations to eliminate hazards, fostering a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Technology, or related field, or 5+ years of EHS experience.
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Knowledge of LOTO, confined space entry, and machine safety.

• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and job-site assessments
• Investigate incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions

Pay: $80,000/year

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Requirements for the EHS Program Specialist

Required:

• Degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Technology, or related field, or 5+ years of EHS experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in both shop and field environments

Preferred:

• Manufacturing, construction, or industrial experience
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification
• Knowledge of LOTO, confined space entry, and machine safety
• Bilingual English/Spanish

Work Environment & Travel

This is an active role requiring daily presence on the shop floor and regular interaction with production and operations teams. Limited travel is required, typically 1-2 field audit trips per year within North America.
