Job summary

Clorox is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to champion environmental excellence and compliance across our manufacturing operation. As a Site Leadership Team member, you will lead environmental programs covering air, water, waste, permitting, and regulatory compliance while driving sustainable business practices and a culture of responsibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HSE leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field preferred; CIH strongly preferred.
• Proven success leading complex incident investigations, RCA, and sustainable corrective actions.
• Strong background driving environmental stewardship, sustainability programs, and continuous improvement.
• Experience partnering with operations and engineering teams to support capital projects and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site’s HSE strategy and drive a proactive, Zero Loss culture.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the HSE team and plant leaders.
• Oversee environmental, health, and safety programs; ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, RCA, and corrective action programs.
• Serve as the primary site contact for environmental agencies, audits, and reporting.
• Drive sustainability initiatives, waste reduction and resource conservation.
• Develop, monitor, and report HSE metrics to support business objectives.
• Conduct risk assessments and site audits; promote accountability.
• Manage HSE management systems, processes, and training programs.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance for safe production.
