Job summary

Clorox is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to champion environmental excellence across its manufacturing operations. You will lead the HSE strategy, manage programs, and drive a zero-loss culture with OSHA/EPA compliance under the guidance of Corporate EHS leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HSE leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with expertise in air emissions, water systems, hazardous waste, permitting, and regulatory reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field; CIH certification strongly preferred.
• Proven success leading incident investigations, RCA, and sustainable corrective actions to reduce risk and strengthen compliance.
• Experience driving sustainability programs, waste reduction, and continuous improvement to support business objectives.
• Ability to partner with operations and engineering to integrate HSE into capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site’s HSE strategy and drive a proactive, Zero Loss culture through continuous improvement and employee engagement.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the HSE team, Safety Committee, and plant leaders to strengthen compliance and risk awareness.
• Oversee environmental, health, and safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all requirements.
• Lead incident investigations, RCA, and corrective action programs to prevent recurrence and reduce risk.
• Serve as primary site contact for regulatory agencies, inspections, audits, and reporting activities.
• Drive environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction and resource conservation.
• Develop, monitor, and report HSE metrics to measure performance and identify trends.
• Conduct risk assessments and site audits, correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors.
• Manage and improve HSE management systems, processes, and training; partner with operations and engineering on capital projects.
• Deliver world-class HSE results through leadership, regulatory excellence, and risk reduction.
