Job summary

Fiber Global is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to design, implement, and continuously improve our EHS programs across our Indiana facilities. You will ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, conduct risk assessments, lead safety audits, and drive training and sustainability initiatives.

You will manage incidents, oversee regulatory reporting, contractor safety, and emergency preparedness, while collaborating with operations to meet safety goals and reduce hazards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required or equivalent experience.
• Experience with OSHA/EPA regulations and risk assessment.
• Ability to lead audits, investigations, and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and training.
• Ensure OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance and proper documentation.
• Conduct workplace audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
• Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training on health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Drive sustainability initiatives like waste reduction and energy efficiency.
• Oversee facility safety, maintenance, and vendor/contractor safety.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and drills; report to regulators.
