• Bachelor's degree or EHS certification preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
• 2-4 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to lead multiple initiatives and influence employees at all levels.
• Experience with incident investigations, corrective actions, and safety metrics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS policies, programs, and compliance initiatives.
• Lead employee safety engagement through safety committees, JSAs, hazard recognition, and training.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Track and report EHS metrics, ESG data, and injury statistics to plant leadership.
• Maintain OSHA logs, incident records, and required regulatory documentation.
• Support ISO 14001 initiatives and environmental compliance programs.
• Coordinate industrial hygiene activities and employee injury follow-up.
• Partner with operations to identify and implement machine guarding, ergonomic, and other safety improvements.
• Collaborate with corporate EHS and site leadership to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through employee engagement and safety awareness.
