Job summary

Benchmark is seeking a dedicated Environmental, Health and Safety leader in Huntsville, AL to oversee EHS programs, worker’s comp processes, audits, and regulatory reporting. You will coordinate training, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvement across the division.

The role requires strong leadership, OSHA knowledge, and experience advancing safety culture, with the opportunity to influence across multiple sites and teams.

Qualifications

• 4 year technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of environmental, health and safety experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Manage EHS training and ensure the safety of all co-workers.
• Perform scheduled plant safety, environmental and ISO-14001 inspection/audits.
• Handle workers’ compensation issues and return to work programs; participate in case management meetings.
• Lead Safety Committee and investigations; maintain related reports and prevention programs.
• Maintain OSHA logs, EPCRA Tier 2, and EPA Form R records.
