Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. is seeking a senior EHS leader to oversee Environmental, Health/Wellness and Safety programs at the division level in Huntsville, AL.

You will manage workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs while ensuring compliance with state, federal and company policies, and you will lead the Safety Committee and First Responders. The role requires a 4-year technical degree (or equivalent) and 5+ years of EHS leadership experience, with strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

• 4 year technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of environmental, health and safety experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Environmental, Health/Wellness and Safety programs at the division level to meet policies and procedures.
• Manage workers’ compensation and return to work programs; participate in case management.
• Lead Safety Committee and First Responders and their activities; conduct accident investigations.
