Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company seeks an EHS Multi-Site Leader to manage the Environmental, Health, and Safety function across Sumter and other BD sites. The role develops and implements EHS strategies aligned with BD goals and regulatory requirements.

You will mentor site EHS teams, drive incident investigations, ensure training, and partner with Central EHS and site leaders to sustain a culture of safety and environmental excellence. Travel ~25-40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience directing and implementing EH&S programs.
• Experience designing strategies that align EH&S with business goals.
• Strong leadership, change management, and communication skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the EHS BU strategy and align with Global Central EHS.
• Oversee EHS resourcing at site level and recruit Site EHS Leaders.
• Drive BD Excellence EHS components and monitor site maturity and action plans.
• Coach site EHS teams and ensure training and governance across sites.
• Interface with BD leadership and ensure regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Lead investigations and root-cause analyses of injuries and incidents.
