Job summary

Windom Manufacturer in Windom, Minnesota, is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead safety, health, and environmental excellence at the Windom site. You will implement the Safety Management System region-wide, ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, and advance zero-harm initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelors degree in a related field and 3+ years building safety programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading and building comprehensive safety programs with evidence of continuous improvement.
• Applicable EHS certificate preferred (CSP, CIH, OHST) and the ability to obtain within 3 years.
• Strong communication skills across all levels; able to facilitate training and drive performance.
• Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop, and execute EHS projects in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to promote safety, health, and environmental excellence every day.
• Implement and standardize the Safety Management System across the region.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate EHS requirements.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessment, and injury elimination efforts to support a zero-harm culture.
• Oversee regulatory programs (e.g., machine guarding, PPE, and environmental compliance) and drive continuous improvement through audits, metrics, and corrective action closure.
