Job summary

Sika is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety professional to develop, administer, and maintain the company’s EH&S program. The role focuses on minimizing incidents, ensuring compliance with federal, state, corporate, and international policies, and driving continuous safety improvements.

You will lead safety programs across facilities, perform JHA/JSA analyses, train staff, and coordinate with HR on workers’ compensation and return-to-work initiatives, embedding a strong safety culture at

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health science, or similar degree.
• 3-5 years professional experience in occupational safety, environmental, or similar role(s); or 5-10 years professional experience in occupational safety, environmental, or similar role(s).
• Automotive or similar manufacturing backgrounds preferred.
• OSHA 30 General Industry certifications preferred, but not required.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical and influence skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and similar regulations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the authority in all areas of Environmental, Health & Safety, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene.
• Coach leadership on safe behaviors, conditions, and techniques for improved safety culture.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EH&S training across all areas.
• Lead incident/accident investigation processes for near misses and injuries.
• Lead weekly EH&S meetings to review audits and actions.
• Maintain EMS ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs.
• Manage EH&S software systems for regulatory compliance.
