Job summary

Virginia Transformer Corp. in Rincon, GA is seeking a dynamic Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to strengthen our safety culture and environmental stewardship.

You will design, implement, and continuously improve EHS programs, lead OSHA 10/30 training, conduct audits, investigations, and liaise with regulators to ensure full regulatory compliance. Collaborate with operations and HR to embed EHS into daily processes, maintain records and permits, and drive measurable safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications CSP, CIH, CHMM are highly preferred.
• Minimum five years of EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and EHS audits to identify hazards and mitigation measures.
• Lead OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training programs to promote safety awareness and compliance.
• Champion a safety culture through effective communication and employee participation.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
