Job summary

Virginia Transformer is seeking a Field Service Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety culture across its North America Field Service organization. You will ensure all installation, maintenance, testing, repair, and emergency activities comply with OSHA, utility requirements, and company standards.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years of EHS experience in field service or construction, with hands-on safety leadership in high-voltage, transformers, and heavy industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene or related field.
• 7–10+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience.
• Experience supporting Field Service or Construction operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Field Safety across North America Field Service operations.
• Ensure OSHA, NFPA 70E, IEEE, utility, environmental requirements compliance.
• Develop and deliver safety training; toolbox talks; annual refreshers.
• Conduct field safety observations, audits, and JHA reviews.
• Develop corrective action plans and track closure; prepare executive reports.
• Collaborate with customers, utilities, EPC contractors to standardize safety procedures.
