Job summary

Tenneco Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for our Minnesota site. You will lead EHS efforts across the plant, drive safety culture, and align strategic goals with enterprise standards to ensure business continuity.

You will manage certifications, risk assessments, training, and data reporting, leveraging Enablon to track injuries, environmental metrics, and corrective actions. Strong leadership and compliance focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Min 3-5 years of experience leading an EHS function/program in manufacturing with focus on safety culture and training.
• Strategic vision and communication skills related to EHS engagement.
• Proven experience pursuing operational excellence within EH&S.

Responsibilities

• Drive EHS objectives with the management team and reinforce safety culture.
• Develop EHS accountability and train employees in EHS processes.
• Contribute to EHS KPIs and engage stakeholders on prevention and compliance.
• Lead certification efforts with external authorities (ISO 14001/45001/50001).
• Ensure permits, reports and data management are properly handled.
• Investigate EHS events to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Use Enablon and other data processes to manage injuries, environmental metrics, and actions.
• Create EHS training matrices and track completion.
