Job summary

Tenneco is seeking an EHS Manager to lead development, implementation, and support of Environmental, Health and Safety programs at the Manitowoc Powertrain Plant in Wisconsin. You will drive compliance with ISO 14000 EMS and ISO 45001 OHSMS, manage audits, and coordinate regulatory reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in EH&S or related field and 5–10 years of experience in safety and environmental program management. Specialized training in safety regulations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EH&S or related field required.
• 5–10 years of experience in Safety & Environmental Program Management.
• Experience managing environmental regulations and OSHA/ANSI standards.
• Specialized training in Safety & Environmental regulations required.
• Experience implementing ISO 14000 EMS and ISO 45001 OHSMS with audits and document control.
• Experience preparing legal reports (DNR, EAP, OSHA).
• Experience handling hazardous materials and permits for pollution control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and support EHS programs at the Manitowoc Powertrain Plant.
• Lead ISO 14000 EMS and ISO 45001 OHSMS audits and document control.
• Prepare and file regulatory reports (DNR, EAP, OSHA).
• Control and dispose of all hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
• Prepare permit applications to install/operate/modify pollution control systems.
• Develop training programs on chemical hazards and PPE usage.
