Job summary

Aptiv is seeking an experienced EHS leader to develop, execute, and drive improvements to environmental, health, and safety programs across our manufacturing sites. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and lead in safety training, audits, and risk reduction initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership in program development, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in OSH or Industrial Hygiene required.
• Minimum 6 years of demonstrated EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Leadership experience with transformative results through programs and culture shaping.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local EHS regulations including air, wastewater, and waste management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Identify gaps and develop programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee safety training for employees and regulatory adherence.
• Maintain SDS program and incident reporting with management review.
• Lead safety audits, write reports, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate training for new safety procedures and tasks.
• Manage safety committees and employee education initiatives.
• Support ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and TS16949 standards.
