Job summary

Aptiv seeks an experienced EHS leader to develop and drive comprehensive safety, health, and environmental programs at our Warwick, RI facility. You will lead regulatory compliance, audits, training, and continuous improvements to reduce risk and protect employees and products.

You will manage the SDS program, incident investigations, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve ISO 14001/45001 and related standards, while supporting a safe manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety/industrial hygiene or closely related field.
• Minimum six years of EHS experience in manufacturing, with leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (air, wastewater, hazardous waste).

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead improvements to EHS programs to ensure safe, compliant workplaces.
• Identify gaps in health, safety and environmental systems and create mitigation plans.
• Conduct regular facility audits and prepare reports with management recommendations.
• Coordinate training for new procedures and tasks, including Job Safety Analyses.
• Manage safety committee and SDS program; facilitate employee participation.
• Support ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, TS16949 compliance and audits.
