Job summary

Viatris is seeking an EHS Manager in the United States to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across the site. You will develop policies, investigate incidents, and coordinate with regulators to ensure compliance while driving continuous safety improvements.

You will chair the Safety Council, design training, and oversee waste management, hazard analysis, and air monitoring. A strong background in OSHA, EPA, and HazMat regulations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Safety and Environmental; 3–5 years in EH&S.
• Master’s in Occupational Health, Safety or Environmental Management preferred; experience considered.
• Advanced knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, DOT and IATA regulations.
• RCRA certification, DOT HazMat certification, 40 hours HazMat training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and maintain EH&S policies and programs across the plant.
• Investigate workplace injuries; prepare root-cause reports and corrective actions.
• Coordinate data for environmental releases; liaison with regulatory agencies.
• Oversee Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste programs; manage waste streams and reports.
• Ensure proper PPE use; conduct noise and hazard testing; advise on corrections.
• Chair the site Safety Council with leadership collaboration.
• Develop safety training including ergonomics, lockout/tagout, and fire safety.
• Develop API handling procedures and Safety Training incentives.
• Oversee Industrial Hygiene program including air sampling and monitoring.
