Job summary

Chemours is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to join the EHS team at the DeLisle facility in Pass Christian, Mississippi. The role reports to the Plant Manager and relocation is available.

Lead site-wide safety programs and develop the EHS and Training teams to drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of EHS experience, PSM responsibilities in a high-hazard setting, and at least 2 years of people leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, Safety Management, or a closely related technical discipline.
10+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience, including significant PSM responsibilities in a high-hazard manufacturing environment.
2+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching and performance management.

Responsibilities

Lead site-wide EHS, PSM, emergency response, security, and compliance programs to meet safety and regulatory objectives.
Drive a strong safety culture through field leadership, coaching, and accountability at all levels.
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Technology, and Training to embed EHS into daily operations.
Develop and lead EHS and Training teams, including performance management and succession planning.
Provide guidance on OSHA compliance, PSM programs, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
