Job summary

Sofidel America is seeking a Health and Safety Manager for our Hattiesburg, MS facility. You will lead health, safety, and environmental functions, implement programs, and drive a culture of safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires coordinating training, conducting safety audits, and managing workers’ compensation interactions while ensuring adherence to governmental and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain safety policies, manuals and procedures for the facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and corporate guidelines.
• Develop and implement training programs to satisfy legal requirements and safety standards.
• Provide safety training to employees, supervisors and managers.
• Manage emergency action plans for employees and property.
