Job summary

Novolex is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead the safety and environmental programs across our operations in Yakima. You will develop policies, ensure OSHA/EPA compliance, and promote a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, hazard analysis, training, audits, and emergency response coordination. A BS in safety/industrial hygiene or environmental field and 5+ years of EHS experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS or related field.
• Certification preferred (CIH, CSP, CHP).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
• Experience with hazardous materials, air permits, and environmental reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Provide safety training in collaboration with the training department.
• Investigate work-related illnesses and injuries and implement corrective actions.
• Champion Human Performance through training and learning initiatives.
• Identify hazards and coordinate with operations, maintenance, and HR to mitigate risks.
• Assist with Worker's Compensation claims.
• Organize and facilitate the Safety Committee.
• Coordinate safety audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Coordinate emergency response operations and drills.
