Novolex in Yakima, WA is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee environmental, health and safety strategies across the plant, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

You will develop and maintain EHS policies, lead training, investigate incidents, and drive initiatives to reduce hazards. The role demands strong communication, leadership and problem-solving, with a commitment to a safe, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state-specific regulations.
• Experience with hazardous materials, air permits, and environmental reporting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
• Work with training department to develop and provide safety training for employees.
• Oversee investigation of work-related illnesses and injuries; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate emergency response operations and safety audits.
