Job summary

Dogwood Industries, LLC seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to ensure health and safety compliance, working closely with Operations, HR, and project teams. You will lead the Safety Team, develop policies, train staff, and guide incident investigations to keep our Everett operations safe.

The role requires hands-on leadership, program development, and strong communication across departments to support a safe work environment and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a safety representative in manufacturing or construction
• Experience managing a team
• Fluent in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• OSHA 30 certification or higher
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership to establish a strong safety culture at Dogwood
• Understand and apply legal health and safety guidelines
• Produce reports and develop relevant policies
• Analyze data and risk assessment to drive improvements
• Ensure compliance with manuals, policies and procedures
• Manage project cost/change controls and budgeting records
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions for incidents
• Perform routine safety inspections and audits across facilities
• Lead safety meetings and coordinate with agencies as required
• Develop, implement and maintain emergency response plans
