Job summary

Utlx Manufacturing Incorporated is seeking a Safety, Health, and Environmental Manager in Alexandria, LA, to develop and manage EHS programs for a railroad tank car manufacturing facility. The role includes ensuring compliance with regulations, leading safety initiatives, and fostering a strong safety culture.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of EHS leadership experience, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and strong knowledge of OSHA standards. The position supports continuous improvement in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Experience in managing regulatory inspections and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs for safety and environmental compliance.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Lead investigations of incidents and implement corrective actions.
