Jobot is seeking an EHS Manager to lead safety and environmental programs for a large manufacturing operation in Los Angeles. You will oversee regulatory compliance, safety initiatives, incident investigations, and continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires extensive experience in EHS management, strong leadership abilities, and a solid understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations. Excellent communication and collaboration with operations are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing/industrial/chemical environments.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in EHS or safety.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Experience with hazardous materials, hazardous waste, and chemical safety.
• Experience with audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain EHS programs and ensure OSHA and environmental regulatory compliance.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and workplace audits.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee chemical safety, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, and environmental compliance.
• Manage regulatory reporting, permitting, and agency interactions.
• Develop and deliver employee safety training.
• Track EHS metrics and identify opportunities to improve safety performance.
• Partner with operations and leadership to promote a strong safety culture.
