Job summary

Motrex LLC is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on reviewing and improving work environments, designing programs to control and prevent injury, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations across operations.

Responsibilities include leading safety initiatives, audits, training, incident investigations, and maintaining documentation while supporting plant budget objectives. On-site required with a focus on continuous safety improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred in Industrial Hygiene, Health Science, Industrial Safety or related field; will consider Associate degree with 8-10 years related experience.
• Prefer 3-5 years of industrial EHS experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA/State regulations.
• Proficient with MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant safety program and drive positive safety culture.
• Maintain location compliance calendar.
• Oversee facility‑wide housekeeping and safety training programs.
• Manage employee injuries and workers' compensation programs.
• Conduct field audits of PPE and routine inspections of safety equipment.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Support engineering with new processes and renovation activities.
