Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead safety initiatives across three manufacturing locations. You will partner with leadership, engage production teams, and drive programs that improve daily safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, audits, incident investigations, training delivery, and ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance. This is a hands-on role with significant time on the production floor.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental/Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• 5+ years safety experience in manufacturing/industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards
• Experience with environmental compliance, permits, reporting
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)

• Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures and documentation
• Monitor workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs
• Lead emergency preparedness efforts and act as first responder
• Spend significant time on the production floor engaging employees

Job Summary

We’re looking for a hands-on Safety Manager to play a key role in shaping safety culture across our growing manufacturing facilities. This is a high-visibility role where you’ll partner directly with leadership, work closely with employees on the production floor, and drive initiatives that make a measurable difference in how work gets done safely every day.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Lead and execute safety strategies across three manufacturing locations
• Drive a proactive, behavior-based safety culture by partnering with leadership to integrate safety into daily operations
• Serve as a trusted safety resource across all departments
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
• Develop and deliver safety training programs
• Ensure OSHA & EPA compliance, reporting, and recordkeeping
• Manage hazard communication programs, including SDS and chemical safety
• Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and documentation
• Monitor workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs
• Lead emergency preparedness efforts and serve as a first responder
• Spend significant time on the production floor engaging employees and identifying improvement opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental / Occupational Health and Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments developing safety programs, training, and procedures
• Strong working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry
• Strong working knowledge of environmental compliance regulations, (EPA) required permits, recordkeeping, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
• Self-motivated, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
