Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs at our manufacturing site. You will partner with site leadership to drive compliance, improve safety culture, and deliver training and audits across operations.

The role reports to the Plant Manager with dotted-line support from corporate EHS leadership and may travel to support other locations and enterprise initiatives. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field; master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing with regulatory interaction.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, L&I and environmental regulations.
• Professional certifications (ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, L&I).
• Partner with site leadership to implement and sustain safe work practices.
• Oversee incident reporting and investigations; drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training to maintain compliance and build capability.
• Conduct inspections and audits; identify risks and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage compliance calendars, regulatory reporting, and agency interactions.
• Lead emergency response programs, including planning, training, and drills.
• Track, analyze, and report EHS metrics; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
