Job summary

Tree Top Staffing is recruiting an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for an established precision manufacturing organization serving demanding industrial, aerospace, and defense markets. The EHS Manager will lead environmental, health, and safety programs on the manufacturing floor and ensure OSHA compliance across multiple operations.

The role requires 3–5+ years in manufacturing EHS, strong OSHA knowledge, and hands-on leadership to foster a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3–5+ years of environmental, health, and safety experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety requirements.
Experience conducting workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Experience developing and delivering employee safety training.
Strong understanding of PPE, Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, and industrial safety practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management at all organizational levels.
Willingness and ability to work on-site and maintain an active presence on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs.
Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA regulations, including 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Standards.
Conduct routine safety inspections, identify unsafe conditions and practices, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Perform job hazard analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and workplace hazard evaluations.
Monitor compliance with machine guarding, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, electrical safety, fall protection, confined spaces, powered industrial trucks, and respiratory protection.
Maintain required OSHA records, logs, postings, and documentation.
Coordinate regulatory inspections and respond to OSHA inquiries.
Establish and monitor safety performance metrics, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
